I’ve had a lot of new clients in the last few weeks, many of them new to getting their Tarot cards read and “this law of attraction stuff.” So for this week’s Manifesting Monday post, I thought I would go back to some basics.
Before you continue to read this blog, I’d like for you to look around you and think about what you see. The chair you are sitting on. The framed photos on your desk. Books that you love. Even if you are in a cafe or library, please take note of everything. Do you realize that before any of these items were in your possession or around you, someone had to think about making them? There was an idea, perhaps a plan, then action and creation. In fact the room and situation you created for yourself may have come to you because you thought about what you wanted. The most basic principal of creativity simply states that your thought creates. If you want something, whether it be an experience or a thing, begin first by having a clear and focused thought of what it is you want.
Wherever you clearly put your focus, you attract and create. That is the Law of Attraction.
Think about something you desire. Concentrate and focus as clearly as possible on what you want. If the vision of what you want is not clear, then your focus will be blurred. If what you want is heartfelt, your focus will be sharp. Desire directs focus. Blurry desires will never materialize but focused desires will. Clear focus is like the mind’s magic wand. It points your creativity in a specific direction and channels all your energy and experience behind it.
Whatever you focus on, you attract into your life whether you want to or not.
Sometimes you may find yourself focusing on negative things. The Law of Attraction doesn’t decipher what is negative or positive. It just gives you whatever you clearly focus on.
Are you focusing on your bad relationships? You’ll attract even more of the same. Focus instead on how excited you are to attract new healthy relationships.
Always thinking about how broke you are and confused why you continue to not have money? Hmmmmm, do you know the answer now? Yes, you’re getting the hang of it… focus instead on how great it is to be in the process of acquiring more money.
For this week’s Manifesting Monday exercise, write down something specific that you want to bring into your life. Imagine it clearly. Use all your senses to bring it to life. What do you see, smell, taste, feel, hear when you imagine having it? Put yourself in the picture of your vision. Can you see and feel yourself having the thing you want? The clearer the picture the stronger your ability to manifest your desire. Even if you are skeptical, for an experiment just play along and imagine anyway. Something amazing may come out of it.
What will you choose to think about this week?
